Reigning Miss Ireland Aoife Walsh was joined by former Miss Ireland royalty yesterday as a new sponsor came onboard for the competition.

Sarah Morrissey, Aoife Cogan and Rebecca Maguire had a fun time with Aoife. Instead of hair flying, the models showed off their crowning glory as they celebrated the arrival of Miss Ireland sponsors Mane ‘n Tail.

Dublin’s House venue in the heart of Dublin City Centre, played host to launch Nuxe most exciting venture “Prodigieux Le Parfum”  the mythical fragrance of their award winning Huile Prodigiuse oil.

In keeping with the theme of the  new Nuxe Fragrance guest were treated to specially created cocktail created by the cocktail extraordinaire in House.

While sipping on cocktail’s guests could relax in a naturistic atmosphere of orange & lime trees and displays of coconuts that are all at the heart of the ingredients of the new Nuxe fragrance. They could also  avail of a layering treatment in our pamper zone with our Nuxe skin experts.

As soul destroying as a bad hair day can be a bad eyebrow day can be even worse. It’s all about the brows. When they are arched, pointed and plucked to perfection they really compliment your face and make a huge difference. Whether you like your eyebrows thin and tailored like Rihanna or are brave enough to carry off the full on Cara brow just make sure you are doing it right. Here are three simple steps to follow to ensure your brows are a roaring success plus the tools you need to keep them in check.

 

1.       Find where you eyebrow should begin. You can find this by lining up the corner of your eye to the inside of your nose. Mark this with your eyebrow pencil and repeat on the other side.

 2.       Next go diagonal from the edge of your nostril to the furthest corner of your eye. This is the end point. Again mark this spot with your eyebrow pencil and repeat on the other eye.

 3.       Now we just need the arch. The edge of the iris of your eye is a great marker for where your ideal arch is. Use the edge of your nostril and follow diagonal to the edge of your iris. This is your arch you can also mark this with an eyebrow pencil. Use light brush strokes to join the dots and go in the same direction that your hair grows. You can do this with an eyebrow pencil or with an angle brush and shadow. Don’t be afraid to fill in any little gaps along the way to get the your perfect brow. Start light and build up as you go then you can gradually work up to the look you want.

As model Kate Moss turns 40 it seems her half Sister Lottie wishes to follow in her footsteps having signed to Storm Models having just turned 16 last Thursday. Lottie tweeted a photo of her brand-new Storm portfolio page, and Storm responded with a birthday tweet for their newest model. “Now that she has turned 16 we are pleased to welcome Lottie onto our client roster on our New Faces division at Storm. However, as she is in full time education she is concentrating on her exams and this is her focus.”  said a spokesperson for Storm Agency recently.

New face for L’Oréal Professionnel

Actress Kirsten Dunst has been announced as the new spokes model for the firm’s salon brand L’Oreal Professionnel’ The 31year old who has appeared in various movies from ‘The Virgin Suicides’, ‘Marie Antoinette’ & ‘Bring it on’ to name but a few will follow in the footsteps of other stars who have modeled for the company’s hair brands, including Jennifer Aniston, Beyonce, and Eva Longoria. Kirsten will front three campaigns this year with the first arriving later this month.

Donatella in a recent Vogue UK interview, the designer spoke about this campaign, saying, “I am honored that my friend Lady Gaga is the face of our new Versace campaign.
